Is the margin of pharma retailers in India based on MRP inclusive GST or excluded of GST ? What is the margin of retailers in India?
Response:
Retailer margin in India is based at PTR (Price to Retailer), not at MRP. Suppose if retailer margin is 20% then it would be calculates as per price to retailers. Margin is calculated at price whereas GST is different thing. PTR may be inclusive of GST and Excluded with GST.
Retailers margin in India varies from 16% to 22% depend at area and location.
