Valsartan
Valsartan is an angiotensin II receptor antagonist which works by relaxing the blood vessel. Valsartan blocks the action of angiotensin II by selectively blocking the binding of angiotensin II to the AT1 receptors found in vacular smooth muscle, adrenal gland etc.

Side Effects:
Peripheral Oedema, rhinitis, back pain, Diarrhea, headache, dizziness, nausea, upper respiratory tract infection, heartburn etc.
