Mylan N.V. is a global generic and specialty pharmaceuticals company registered in the Netherlands, with principal executive offices in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, UK and a “Global Center” in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, US. Mylan operates in over 165 countries with approximate 35000 employee globally. Mylan having Mylan is founded in 1961 in West Virginia. Sandoz:
Sandoz is a generic pharmaceuticals and bio similar division of the Novartis group. It’s now third largest generic supplier having revenue of $ 9.9 billion worldwide.
In 1996, Ciba-Geigy merged with Sandoz; the pharmaceutical and agrochemical divisions of both companies formed Novartis as an independent entity. The Sandoz brand disappeared for three years, but was revived in 2003 when Novartis consolidated its generic drugs businesses into a single subsidiary and named it Sandoz having headquartered in Munich, Germany.
