Piperacillin is a broad spectrum beta lactam antibiotic of the ureidopenicillin class
Indication :
- In moderate to severe infections caused by piperacillin resistant,
- Piperacillin suspectible,
- Beta lactamase producing strains,
- In appendicitis, peritonitis,
- Skin/soft tissue infection,
- Lower respiratory tract infections,
- Infection in neutropenic patients,
- Intra abdominal infection and UTI.
