Piperacillin is a broad spectrum beta lactam antibiotic of the ureidopenicillin class

Indication : 

  • In moderate to severe infections caused by piperacillin resistant, 
  • Piperacillin suspectible, 
  • Beta lactamase producing strains, 
  • In appendicitis, peritonitis, 
  • Skin/soft tissue infection, 
  • Lower respiratory tract infections, 
  • Infection in neutropenic patients, 
  • Intra abdominal infection and UTI.
