KETOCONAZOLE

It is the first orally effective broad spectrum antifungal drug, useful in both dermatophytosis and deep mycoses.

Its oral absorption is facilitated by gastric acidity.

Indications : 

• Superficial and deep mycoses due to susceptible fungi, 
• Dermatomycosis and infections caused by candida species. 
• Candidura and systematic candidosis.
