Most of pharmaceutical companies prefer to appoint medical representatives at age limit 23-27 years. Some companies allow age limit of 23 years, some 24 and some 27. Few companies allow recruiting above 27 years age candidate but chances are less that you got chance with any MNC pharmaceutical company to start medical representative career at age of 27. MSME pharmaceutical companies can hire you at age of 27 years as a fresher candidate for medical representative post.

Educational Requirements (Vary company to company):

Preferred educational requirement for MNC companies is B. Pharm / D. Pharm / B.Sc.

Few companies also allow candidates from Diploma in Any Specialization,  Biology, Botany, Chemistry, Zoology, Any Graduate in Any Specialization etc.

• Demonstrate or present and promote products to healthcare professionals like Doctors and Pharmacists
• Prescription generation
• Managing distribution channel members such as Stockiest, Distributors & Chemists
• Handle sales promotion activities. Attend and organize conferences and meetings
