Eprosartan Mesylate
Eprosartan reduce blood pressure in two ways. First it blocks the angiotensin II receptor at AT1 receptors and second, it inhibits sympathetic norepinephrine production. The drug acts on the rennin-angiotensin system to decrease total peripheral resistance.
