We want to launch a dietary supplement product in the market. However we don`t have an manufacturing facility of our own and hence want it manufactured at an third party manufacturing unit.
- How do we get the FSSAI approval for the product in our name?
- Please provide a list of FSSAI approved list of third party manufacturing facility in and around Delhi/NCR.
Response:
Product approval is work of Manufacturer. FSSAI has been issued list of food and dietary supplements ingredients which are approved for manufacturing. Also FSSAI issued lower limit and upper limit of these ingredients that could be added in formulations. You just need to give brand name of your Product and composition to manufacturer. if ingredients fall under approved list.
