Lisinopril
Lisinopril is an ACE inhibitor used in the treatment of high blood pressure and congestive heart failure. ACE is angiotensin converting enzyme which plays essential role in the conversion of angiotensin I into angiotensin II. Lisinopril prevents vasoconstriction by inhibiting ACE in this reaction and helps in reducing blood pressure.

Indications:
All grades of hypertension, hypertension in diabetes mellitus, gout, asthma & mental depression, Congestive heart failure etc.

Side effects:
Hyperkalaemia, dizziness, cough, headache, diarrhea, hypotension, oedema etc.

Lisinopril 2.5 mg tablets
Lisinopril 5 mg tablets
Lisinopril 10 mg tablets
Lisinopril 20 mg tablets
