Lidocaine is a local anesthetic agent. It is used as local anesthetic as well as antiarrhythmic. The most prominent cardiac action is suppression of automaticity in ectopic foci. Lidocaine is also used topically to relieve in burning, itching and pain in skin inflammation. It is injected as an anesthetic in dental problems or used in minor surgeries as a local anesthetic.

Indications: 

Ventricular tachyarrhythmias, local anesthetics etc

Side Effects: 

Drowsiness, nausea, paresthesias, blurred vision, disorientation, nervousness, anxiety, headache, tremor, hypotension, respiratory depression, flushing, allergy etc

Anhydrous Lidocaine 20mg/ml (5ml/30 ml/50ml) injections
Lidocaine HCL 2% 10*30 ml injections
Lidocaine HCL 2% 30 gm gels
Lidocaine HCL 21.3mg/ml (50ml) injections

Lidocaine 2% + Adrenaline 0.022mg injections (30 ml)
Lidocaine 2% + Adrenaline 0.009mg injections (30 ml)
Lidocaine 53.3 mg + Dextrose 75mg/ml injections (2 ml)

Solutions:
Lidocaine 53.3 mg + Dextrose 75mg/ml solutions (100 ml)

Spray
Lidocaine 100 mg + Ethanol 28.29% v/v 500 ml spray
