Hi sir   I am a student of D.pharmacy. I am completed my 12th from NIOS with pcm in 2016 and take admission in d.pharma but my friend told me nios student are not approved from PCI and someone told me from 2015 PCI approved nios student for d.pharmacy is this true information because I am taking admission please advice me soon what I do..

Response:

Pharmacy council of India issued two circulars in this regards, one in 2007 and second in 2009. Both confirmed the not approval of National School Qualification for admission in Pharmacy Courses.Click at below link to read it: PCI circular regarding National Open School Qualification

But In year 2015, PCI has issues circulars related to Eligibility of Open School education system of the Central Govt. / State Govts. institutions for admission in Pharmacy courses for the purpose of registration as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948. and approved open school system of central and state government institutions for admission in various pharmacy courses for purposing as a registered pharmacist. Read circulars by clicking below links: http://www.pci.nic.in/pdf/40.pdf

You are eligible for taking or continuing your admission in D. Pharmacy Course.Hope this information will be helpful to you…
